What a year! As we finally bring 2015 to a close and usher in everything 2016 has in store for us at Get the Look, it is the perfect time to show our unending love and devotion for those gorgeous L'Oréal Paris ambassadors! The year has seen them take to the red carpets of event after glittering event, inspiring us with their beauty and unbeatable style. Here are our favorite looks from these lovely #Lorealistas: we can't wait to see what 2016 will bring!
The ambassadors: best looks of 2015!
Naomi Watts glowed on the red carpet of the Cannes Film Festival earlier this year, stepping out on May 13 for the opening evening in a light grey Elie Saab gown with a feather skirt and a bead-encrusted bodice. She then topped the look off with an elegant French twist in her blonde locks.
Another ambassador with a thing for feathers, Blake Lively took to the red carpet at the New York premiere of The Age of Adaline in a red Monique Lhullier gown, complete with leather, lace, and a pretty large plummage!
When it comes to Freida Pinto , we love it whenever she switches her lipstick shade to something a little more bold and daring, like when she attended the Salvatore Ferragamo show during the Milan Fashion Week on March 1. The actress chose to go all black with her look and even opted for a dark and wintery oxblood lipstick shade!
One of the newest members of the L'Oréal Paris family, Irina Shayk is no stranger to red carpet glamour! The model opted for a Versace Haute Couture number for the Leonardo DiCaprio Foundation 2nd Annual Saint-Tropez Gala on July 22, following in the fashion footsteps of fellow ambassador Doutzen Kroes !
Model Natasha Poly took to the red carpet in many gorgeous ensembles this year, but none more so than her molten gold and plunging Michael Kors gown from the Cannes premiere of The Sea of Trees on May 16. She then completed the look with her usual high-definition, high-drama eyeliner and gorgeous vintage waves.
Only 3 months after giving birth, Zoe Saldana made this appearance in a nude-pink Atelier Versace gown at the 2015 Oscars on February 22. The actress rocked that Old Hollywood, classic beauty look from head to toe and we couldn't get enough!
Usually one for more minimalist styles, Karlie Kloss looked sweet yet sultry at the CFDA Fashion Awards in New York City on June 1, stepping out in a plunging red and black polka dot dress, custom-made by Diane Von Furtstenburg.
Doutzen Kroes may have taken the Croisette of the Cannes Film Festival by storm, but our favorite look has to be from the amfAR's 22nd Cinema Against AIDS Gala on May 21. The model coupled a vibrant red Margiela shift gown - complete with an open back and a minimalist bow design across the back of the neck - with a smoky winged eyeshadow look and a tousled updo for easy yet perfect glamour!
This list may currently be full to the brim of red dresses, but we simply cannot talk about Aishwarya Rai without taking a look back at her crimson strapless gown from the Cannes photocall for Jazbaa on May 19. Not only that, but she paired the dress with a lipstick shade to match - absolutely flawless Cannes style!
Finally, who could forget Academy Award winner Julianne Moore off of this list? The 55-year-old star took to the red carpet at the Toronto International Film Festival for the premiere of Maggie's Plan on September 12, wearing black Valentino Couture and with her hair pinned up into an elegant updo.
Happy new year to all of the ambassadors!
