Hungarian model and L'Oreal Paris muse Barbara Palvin has quite the busy schedule as of late! After her noteworthy appearance at the 73rd annual Venice Film Festival, the brunette beauty is now making her way through New York Fashion Week to see what Spring 2017 has in store. For her first appearance in the Big Apple, the Hungarian beauty opted for a look that's quite different from her usual soft pink makeup and natural complexion.
She attended The Daily Front Row's 4th annual Fashion Media Awards on September 8th looking sensual and mysterious in a silk black slip dress with thigh-high slit. And though we loved her femme fatale-inspired dress, it was her dark burgundy lips that caught our attention!
And of course, we could not mention her new sultry style without mentioning her perfectly disheveled half-up half-down hairstyle that pushed her sex appeal to a whole new level. Ready to learn how to be as sensual and mysterious as Barbara at NYFW? Read on!
BARBARA PALVIN SEDUCES NEW YORK IN A SILK SLIP DRESS
The boudoir, nightgown-inspired slip dress has been making major waves in the fashion world lately, spotted on celebrities like Bella Hadid at Cannes, and Doutzen Kroes for her appearance in Berlin. And now, L'Oreal muse Barbara Palvin has adopted the look for herself, showing off an all-black, spaghetti strap silk slip dress with an extra large thigh-high slit.
Looking for a way to spice up your look this season? Be sure to add a silky little slip dress to your wardrobe, and don't just reserve it for bedtime! For a more casual look, you can even layer your slip dress over a simple white T-shirt.
Despite being one of fall 2016/17's major makeup must-haves, dark, vampy lipstick is the one weapon you'll need to achieve an air of mystery like Barbara. For her appearance at NYFW, the brunette beauty chose to dress her lips with a slightly matte, dark burgundy shade of lipstick that contrasted against her clear and glowing skin.
To compliment her bold pout, Barbara filled in the inner corners of her eyes with an iridescent white eyeshadow that enhanced her blue stare, making her eyes appear larger and brighter. She finished off with a lengthening mascara that added glamour and femininity to her look.
Our tip for adopting dark, vampy lipstick? Keep your eye makeup minimal and go with a pale shadow and volumizing mascara that will compliment your bold lips without being too over-the-top.
