Thick, defined brows have officially been elevated from "on trend" to "must have", thanks to lush arched It-girls Cara Delevingne, Lily Collins, Emilia Clarke, and Camilla Belle acting as the poster girls for the look. Youthful and effortless, full brows can truly transform your beauty look, making "barely there" makeup memorable or perfectly balancing out a bold lip color.
Want to get the look? Here are our top tips for getting bigger, better brows...
Bold doesn't mean bushy! The idea here is to define your brow's shape without removing too much hair. Start by holding a makeup brush handle from the outer edge of your nose straight up- this is where your brow should start. Using a brow pencil create a line and then remove any hair past that line. Then, hold the brush so that it's set along the outside of your nose, aligning with the outer corner of your eye, and meeting the outer edge of your brow- this is where it should end. Again, mark this point and remove any hair extending past this line.
Using a brow spoolie, brush through the hair in an upward direction, making it easier to see the natural shape of your brow. Then, use a brow pencil the same shade as your hair and fill your brows in lightly with short, even strokes. Try to focus most on the middle of your brow, leaving the inside and the outside slightly more sparse. Brush through your brows once more to soften the lines of the pencil and then brush through one final time with a tinted brow gel to keep your brows expertly defined all day long!
