Imogen Poots attended the photocall for her new film, A Long Way Down, at the 64th Annual Berlin International Film Festival in Berlin, Germany. The British actress looked lovely in a hunter green and black Marc Jacobs pencil dress, with messy bun hairstyle and charcoal grey smoky eyes.
A Long Way Down
The film was adapted from the Nick Hornby (High Fidelity, About a Boy) novel of the same name. It centers around four people who meet on the top of a building on New Year's Eve. They form a psuedo-family, helping each other solve their life's problems. Aaron Paul (Breaking Bad), Rosamund Pike, Toni Collette and Pierce Brosnan also star in the feature.

Imogen's beauty look is quite understated for such a big event, but then, that's kind of what we love about the star! She obviously puts effort into her appearance but doesn't take herself too seriously. For the photocall and film premiere, she stuck with the same beauty look: a natural and perfected base, slight tint on her cheeks and lips, bold brows, and a classic smoky eye.
Step one: Use a luminous concealer to mask dark under eye circles, and a regular matte concealer for blemishes and imperfections. Then, use a sponge or brush to apply your favorite medium-coverage foundation, being sure to blend it well into the skin for a truly natural appearance.
Step two: Pencil in your brows using short, light strokes. If you need to, follow our tutorial for making your eyebrows look thicker!
Step three: Apply a primer all over your eyelid and below the lower lashline, followed by black eyeliner along the top and bottom lashline. Use a makeup brush with concentrated bristles to smudge the liner gently. Apply a shimmery grey shadow all over the lid. Then, add a bit more black liner to the outer corner and blend it in with the eyeshadow. Coat your lashes with black mascara for an intense look!
Step four: Use a fluffy blush brush to give your cheeks a very light wash of color, going from the apples up toward the temples. Finally, a slick of tinted balm on your lips and you're all set!
