Last night (October 15) saw the God's Love We Deliver charity hold its annual Golden Heart Awards in New York City, bringing a selection of gorgeous - and generous - celebrities out onto the red carpet. With so many glittering sequins, soft Hollywood curls and glowing makeup looks on display, there was only one thing to do: let's bring on the best in dress and beauty from last night's festivities!
Top looks of the evening
Ever the glowing blonde bombshell, Kate Hudson stepped out for the evening in a white figure-hugging dress with black floral patterning and a sexy cut out strip down the front. The 36-year-old star then chose contrasting bright yellow Louboutin heels. and topped off her look with gentle curls and a soft smoky eye makeup effect: she's still got it!
Canadian model Alana Zimmer attended the award ceremony dressed in a grey silk gown teamed with a silver clutch and strappy black heels. The 28-year-old brunette beauty then opted for a loose relaxed hairstyle and a flawlessly soft, metallic silver eyeshadow palette: simple yet sultry!
One of our absolute favorite looks of the night, 22-year-old model Maria Borges dazzled in a deep plum strapless cocktail dress with hints of glowing cream patterns. If that wasn't enough to catch our eye, the model then matched her dress to her deep, shimmering, purple winged eye-makeup with gorgeous results, bringing the look together with a light nude pink lipstick.
Golden Globe winner Emily Blunt took the red carpet by storm at last night's event, choosing to glitter in gold and black with her sequin-embellished and beaded number which she teamed with a jigsaw-patterned box clutch, gold jewelry and a warm raspberry lip shade.
Bringing a dose of heat to the red carpet, 24-year-old model Shanina Shaik opted for a fiery figure-hugging number with a plunging neckline, which she then paired with a snakeskin-patterned clutch and nude heels. We loved the touch of gold liner the model added to her makeup look around the inner corners of her eyes, giving her complexion a subtle luminosity to contrast against her rich, dark locks.
Last, but definitely not least, 29-year-old Australian Jessica Hart made a glittering entrance to the ceremony in a sequined shift dress in silver, gold and black. She then pulled her hair back into a voluminous, romantic chignon and left her makeup toned down and natural, save for a shimmering pink lip gloss to add that necessary touch of glamour!
