After showing you how to achieve J-Lo's gorgeous makeup look step-by-step, we're breaking down Blake Lively's look to help you re-create her sun-kissed beachy look. Read on to find out how!

BLAKE LIVELY'S BEACH WAVES AND SUN-KISSED GLOW

OUTFIT

Blake Lively isn't one to shy away from mini dresses, sparkles or unique adornments. For her recent red carpet appearance at the People's Choice Awards, the actress adopted a black, sparkly mini dress made up of flapper-esque tassels. She paired it with black lingerie underneath for a sultry yet tasteful look.

As for accessories, Blake complimented her ensemble with black geometric earrings, a black clutch and black strappy heels adorned with gold glitter.

HAIR

Blake Lively is known for her gorgeous long, blonde locks. She is often spotted donning loose curls or the beach-y waves of our dreams. For her latest red carpet appearance, Blake adopted a look that was a cross between straight and wavy, making for gorgeous, natural-looking beachy texture.

To get this look, start off with damp, freshly washed hair. Towel dry it gently, then apply a beach spray like L'Oreal's Matt & Messy spray into your hair. Use your fingers to scrunch a few pieces throughout your head. Once your hair has dried, go over a few strands with a curling iron, making sure to grab large sections of hair at once, and leave space between strands on the iron. Use a brush to brush out the curls, then apply a volumizing hairspray to keep your look in place!

MAKEUP

For her makeup look, Blake adopted her signature sun-kissed glow. She wore a rust coloured brown shadow on her hooded lids and underneath her lower lash line, then enhanced her cheeks, temples, jawline and nose with a bronzing blush. She completed her look with a touch of glossy pink lipstick.

To get this look, start off with a unified base. Once you've applied a foundation of your choice, enhance your cheekbones, nose, temples and jaw line with a bronzing blush or contour palette. Use a highlighting powder to accentuate the bridge of your nose and high points of your cheek bones. Move on to your eyelids by applying a rust coloured shadow onto your upper lids and lower lash line. Enhance your lashes with a volumizing mascara then apply a glossy pink lipstick onto your lips to complete the look!
