In preparation for the 69th annual Cannes Film Festival, we're looking back at some of the events most noteworthy red carpet looks. Though stars like Julianne Moore stunned on the red carpet in previous years, L'Oreal Paris ambassador and blonde bombshell, Blake Lively , continues to be one of our most-envied style and beauty icons to attend the event.
Get The Look takes a look back at Blake Lively's best red carpet beauty looks from the Cannes Film Festival (and even offers a tip or two on how to achieve each look for yourself!).
NATURAL BEAUTY LOOK
FEMININE & NATURAL
Despite the plethora of stunning beauty looks to be seen at Cannes, Blake Lively's bronze bombshell look accompanied by a pale blue Chanel gown at the Cannes Film Festival's 2014 premiere of Mr. Turner stood out among the rest. The actress rocked natural, beach waves in her hair and complimented it with a soft, glowing complexion.

To create Lively's soft, feminine approach to beauty, start by using a black-brown shade of eye liner to create a soft, smoky look. Use a shimmery, taupe, chocolate brown shade of shadow to blend the liner onto the outer corners of the eye crease. Apply a small dot of shimmery, white shadow to the inner corners of your eyes. Skip bronzer entirely and instead, opt for a warm, beige blush. Finish off the look with a swipe of sheer, pink lip gloss for a soft, feminine appeal.
GOLD SMOKY EYE
Blake Lively always seems to have an ethereal air about her, and her appearance on the red carpet at the Cannes Film Festival's 2015 premiere of Grace of Monaco was no exception. Clad in a draped garnet Gucci number, the L'Oreal muse went for a sexy gold smoky eye to compliment the gown's sultry maroon shade. She completed her Hollywood glam look with a soft pink blush and matching lip-gloss.

To achieve Blake's toned down smoky eye look, swipe a light brown shade of eye shadow over your entire eye lid. Define the crease with a dark brown shade, then brush a hint of gold shadow underneath your lower lash line and along the brow bone. Finish the eyes with two coats of black mascara and line your waterline with black liner. Apply a soft pink shade of lip gloss to your lips for a pretty hint of colour.
RED LIP & BLACK LINED EYES
The actress really brought her A-Game at the Cannes 2014 premiere of her husband Ryan Reynold's film, The Captive, where she donned a classic bold red lip, bronzer, and black lined eyes accompanied by a sleek chignon and finished off with Lorraine Schwartz jewelry.

For her ultimate glam look, start by unifying your complexion with a liquid foundation. Apply bronzing powder to your cheek bones, bridge of nose, chin, and temples, and brush a peach coloured blush onto the apples of your cheeks. Apply a heavy dose of mascara to your upper and lower lash lines, and use a brown pencil eyeliner to colour in your waterline. Finish off your eyes by applying a shimmery gold shadow underneath your lash line. To complete the look, smear a bright red lipstick over your lips, and you've achieved the Blake Lively-level of glam!
