Yesterday afternoon, L'Oreal muse Blake Lively was seen out in New York on promotion for her new movie The Shallows. In case you missed the trailers, the film is about surfer Blake who fights off a shark, which is perfect because it opens on Friday June 24th, just in time for Shark Week. Blake also told Marie Claire, that the film draws attention to climate change, because sharks, that were once in the deep, now live in the shallows – deeper thought for the day!
And while we can't wait to see Blake vs. the shark in her new film, we were also eager to see what her impeccable style would bring to the table for promotion day. The actress had three different outfit changes that day, leaving us with triple the outfit envy.
YELLOW MAXI DRESS
On June 20th, Blake was spotted in Manhattan wearing a bright yellow, floor-length maxi dress that hid her baby bump. The bust of the summer ensemble was embellished with beaded yellow and silver floral patterns that added a touch of glam to her outfit. Blake complimented the bright hue with turquoise earrings and a matching bracelet.
As for her hair, Blake wore it long and natural, with beach-y waves brushing her shoulders. Her makeup was simple, but that didn't stop her long lashes from making a beautiful statement.
NUDE RUFFLED MINI DRESS
Later that day, Blake was photographed walking into the Today Show to promote her new film, The Shallows, wearing an ultra feminine blush coloured mini dress adorned with floral and silver embellishments, ruffles on the sleeves and bottom of the dress, and a matching belt at the waist (her baby bump was barely visible!). Her hair was long, wavy and flowing, a look that matched the romance of her dress.
The L'Oreal muse topped off her look with a powder blue-grey purse and silver tie-up heels that reached her ankles.
ROYAL BLUE AND A TOUSLED PONYTAIL
For her last look of the day, Blake chose a royal blue, fitted number for her appearance on The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon. The gown was knee-length, off-the-shoulder, and featured a small cut-out just above her adorable baby bump!
Blake was glowing with dewy, highlighted skin, long lashes, and a soft pink shade of lipstick that complimented her sun-kissed glow. As for her hair, it was tied back into a tousled ponytail that is easily achieved with (a lot of) back combing and hairspray!
