Chic & Sleek
During the Dennis Basso For Kleinfeld Show at Kleinfeld on October 8, the models sported super sleek, high ponytails as they graced the runway. It may not be the most conventional wedding hairstyle, but we're hooked. Not only is this style both elegant and classic, it will also help you to show off your beautiful dress and décolletage.
Get The Look
Apply some straightening heat protection spray to your towel dried tresses - this should form part of your everyday styling routine to protect against the damage caused by hairdryers, straighteners and curling irons.
Blow dry your locks straight on medium heat, using a paddle brush to really smooth out your hair.
Once dry, pull your hair back and upwards into a high ponytail. Make sure you brush around your entire head to ensure the ponytail is as tight as possible. Smoothing any flyaways from your hairline with a fine tooth comb.
To achieve a poker straight finish, use a flat iron to straighten the lengths of the ponytail.
Take a small section of the ponytail and wrap it around the hair tie, fixing it under the base with a bobby pin.
Mist some hairspray over your hair to hold in place for your big day!
Does anyone hear wedding bells?!
