What would the Cannes Film Festival be without the L'Oreal Paris ambassadors jaw-dropping outfit choices? For the third day of the festival, photographers and the public awaited the arrival of the gorgeous muses, as always. As expected, ambassadors Blake Lively , Kristina Bazan, Aishwarya Rai , and Cheryl Cole made their appearance on the red carpet for the premiere of French director Bruno Dumont's, Slack Bay (Ma Loute), looking like true, modern day Cinderella's.
BLAKE LIVELY'S MODERN-DAY CINDERELLA GOWN
For her first appearance on the 69th annual Cannes Film Festival, L'Oreal muse Blake Lively stepped out wearing a glamorous, gold embellished gown that showed off her barely-there baby bump. For the day 3 red carpet premiere of Slack Bay, the blonde bombshell teased us with an Instagram post that seemed as though she had gained her inspiration from a fairy-tale villain, holding up a photo of The Little Mermaid's arch nemesis, Ursula.
Soon after, we found out that she had played a trick on us when she stepped onto the red carpet wearing a blue Vivienne Westwood creation that appeared as though it had been stolen straight out of Cinderella's dressing room.
Pastel blue colour, iridescent embellishments, a ruffled, A-line silhouette, and a top-knot hairstyle turned Blake into the modern Cinderella of our dreams. Hopefully the stroke of midnight doesn't signal the end of her Cannes fairy-tale!
THE PRINCESS MUSES
Blake Lively may not have been accompanied by her prince charming, but she was joined on the red carpet by three other L'Oreal muses that made equally gorgeous princesses.
Bollywood diva Aishwarya Rai sparkled in an embellished gold gown complete with sheer, cape-like sleeves that seemed to have been inspired by princesses of the Arabian Nights. As for Cheryl Cole, she stepped out wearing a body-con, sleeveless dress embroidered with colourful shapes and designs that stood out amongst the rest.
Meanwhile, fashion and beauty blogger Kristina Bazan made her second Cannes red carpet appearance wearing an awe-worthy Alberta Ferretti crop top and matching voluminous skirt.
