Cannes 2016 L'Oreal Paris Party: best-dressed muses of the night

Cannes 2016 L'Oreal Paris Party: best-dressed muses of the night

by Paige Exell -

As the 69th Cannes Film Festival continues, the L'Oreal ambassadors gear up for another night of glamour and style that we can only admire from afar. This time, L'Oreal muses Natasha Poly, Doutzen Kroes, Kristina Bazan, Lara Stone, Irina Shayk, Barbara Palvin, Karlie Kloss, Soo Joo Park, Bianca Balti, Lewis Hamilton, and Lucky Blue Smith got out their best blue attire for the Cannes L'Oreal Paris party, and made our obsession with the cool colour that much more extreme.

Before the event, L'Oreal teased us and expressed their own obsession with the colour blue by posting a series of Instagram posts that showed off eccentric blue eye makeup along with the hashtag #blueobsession.

As the night progressed we got to witness the colour in action, as L'Oreal muses graced us with their blue presence on the – yes, blue – carpet. Without further ado, we give you the best-dressed muses of the night.

BARBARA PALVIN

After showing off a romantic, light pink gown at the red carpet premiere of Julieta, the brunette bombshell switched up her look for something a little sultrier and more revealing. The L'Oreal muse walked the blue carpet in shiny, royal blue trousers, pointed blue heels, and a cut-out bodysuit that left little to the imagination.

Barbara complimented her look with natural, slightly tousled hair, winged liner, and structured brows for a look that seems effortless, yet sophisticated.

KRISTINA BAZAN

Fashion and beauty blogger Kristina Bazan made another grand appearance on the carpet last night, wearing a floor-length royal blue gown with sheer mesh accents around the bust. Our favourite part about her look? She stayed true to her signature beauty style, wearing a smoky cat eye that matched her fierce glare.

DOUTZEN KROES

Doutzen Kroes is the queen of effortlessly chic, making simple gowns and colour palettes look ultra-glamorous whenever she steps out into the spotlight. For her appearances on the 69th Cannes Film Festival red carpet, Doutzen opted for simple black colour palettes and natural, untouched hair that made it simple for us to reinvent her looks for ourselves.

For the L'Oreal party, Doutzen stuck to her style and stepped out wearing navy trousers and a matching blazer that featured flared out sleeves that gave her ensemble a slight feminine touch. As for beauty, the supermodel left her blonde locks natural and tousled, while her complexion appeared to be slightly flushed with the help of pink blush and lips.

NATASHA POLY

Russian supermodel Natasha Poly swapped her elaborate floral-embellished gown and bold, negative space cat eye for a more subdued look when it came to dressing for the Cannes L'Oreal Paris party last night. The muse wore her hair and makeup natural, a look that made her sheer side slit gown and exposed bralette appear more casual.

LARA STONE

Similar to Doutzen,Lara Stone opted for a look that favoured comfort over glamour – but she still brought her A-game to the blue carpet. The L'Oreal muse let her bright blonde locks sit naturally on her shoulders, while she let her extra large lashes do all the talking. In a shiny, navy blue jumpsuit Lara stunned yet again in Cannes.

IRINA SHAYK

L'Oreal muse Irina Shayk took a refreshing take on the navy blue theme, wearing a low-cut double slit gown adorned with small cut-outs and sequins. She wore her hair back in a curled ponytail that made sure not to take any attention away from her dress.

LEWIS HAMILTON

L'Oreal Men Expert Lewis Hamilton looked as handsome as ever for his appearance at the L'Oreal party last night. With a perfectly structured hair-cut, shiny blue tuxedo, and embellished button-down shirt, we couldn't stop staring at this hunk!

LUCKY BLUE SMITH

Let's be honest, all Lucky Blue Smith needed to bring in order to stay in theme last night was his baby blue eyes! But fortunately, the blonde bombshell didn't stop there. Lucky showed up decked out in black jeans, a navy blue blazer, and a baby blue button-down that made his eyes stand out in the sea of blue!
