Through the Women of Worth Awards, L'Oréal Paris recognizes some of the amazing women who make a difference in their communities. It was only natural that some of our favorite philanthropic celebrities were there to raise awareness about charity work and to honor the women involved in a variety of different organizations.
First started in 2006, the Women Of Worth program has now celebrated 70 women who selflessly made a difference in their communities through their inspirational volunteering and charitable efforts. This year, ten special ladies each received 10,000 for their respective organizations, and one lucky winner came away with an additional 25,000 dollars!
Among the famous faces on the red carpet were Lea Michele , who is know for her work with animal and gay rights charities; Diane Keaton, who supports several cancer and children's charities; Aimée Mullins , who campaigns for empowerment through sports and many other causes; and Andie MacDowell, supporter of UNICEF and cancer charities.
Lea was stunning in a red Dolce and Gabbana gown, very similar to Andie's green lace dress. Aimee created quite a buzz in her silk jumpsuit, and Diane was classy in a long-sleeved black dress, patent leather platforms, gloves and a brimmed grey hat to complete the look.
Other famous faces included country singer Trisha Yearwood, British actor Rupert Friend and model/actress Rainey Qualley. Rainey's super short dress and shoes caught our eye in particular - a lesson in the art of wearing nude.
Congratulations to all the wonderful women of worth out there!
