Celebrity hairstyle ideas for a natural makeup look

With warmer weather on its way, you don't always want to be wearing heavy makeup, but neither do you want to look like a plain Jane! This is where your hair takes center stage. With the help of natural beauties Kat Dennings, Beth Behr and Katharine McPhee, we have three gorgeous hairstyles to inspire you!

The three lovely ladies were all invited to stop by Universal Studios Hollywood for an appearance on Extra, hosted by Mario Lopez and Maria Menounos. We noticed immediately that they had all decided on fresh-faced, natural-looking makeup, but had each chosen a different hairstyle. Which one do your prefer?

Kat Dennings: Sideswept waves

The 2 Broke Girls star swept her rich chocolate locks over her right shoulder, with a couple of sections remaining on the left. Curled into gently tousled waves, we loved how the front section fell naturally over her forehead. Makeup-wise, Kat went for a light smoky eye, nude lips, and natural-looking coverage.

Beth Behr: Tapered bangs

A fringe like Beth's is great for drawing attention to your eyes, and balancing the shape of your face. The tapered effect makes her bangs less severe, and blends them into the rest of the hair. Beth's blunt cut is styled into relaxed waves, with a few front sections pulled away from her face and secured behind. Like her co-star Kat, her complexion and lip are kept natural, and she's gone for a slick of liner across her upper lash line.

Katharine McPhee: Piecey tousled style

This mid-length style has to be this season's most popular celebrity look. The light brown and blonde highlights in Katharine's hair create a piecey, textured effect, which we love! Styled into a simple center part, she looks fresh and natural. Just like the other two, Katharine's lipstick is neutral, her face looks flawless, and she's chosen a delicate golden brown smoky eye.

Which style will you be working this season?
