From the 69th annual Cannes Film Festival to Louis Vuitton's 2017 Cruise show that took place in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil earlier this week, the celebrity style game has been on point of late. Most recently, celebs by the likes of Karlie Kloss and Chanel Iman attended Swarovski #bebrilliant, along with other red carpet events that gave us serious style envy this past week.
Since we can't stop obsessing over the latest celebrity looks, we're looking back at the top 5 best-dressed celebs of the week along with the trends they bring to the table.
Pastels may not be ground breaking for spring, but they're definitely a warm-weather favourite to sport, even in the books of A-list celebs. Exhibit A: Emilia Clarke. The English actress led this week's best-dressed pack when she stepped out in a subtle pastel yellow hand-knitted lace Ulyana Sergeenko Couture gown at the European film premiere of Me Before You.
Meanwhile, German actress Heike Makatsch tackled the look head-on in a pastel blue jumpsuit that she wore to the German Film Awards on May 27th.
CUT-OUTS AND HALTERNECKS
Then there are some A-list stars who can't deny their love for a simple, yet glamorous party look. At the Swarovski #bebrilliant party held on May 24th, L'Oreal muse Karlie Kloss wore a black cut-out Proenza Schouler halterneck dress that perfectly reflected her personal style. She paired the look with a classic red lip that stood out against her blonde hair and minimal makeup.
Celebs like Chanel Iman and Hailee Steinfeld also made sure to come dressed in their best for the Swarovski party, with Steinfeld wearing a grey striped dress, loose ponytail, and smoky eye that can be transitioned from red carpet to real life. Chanel Iman took a more glamorous approach at the same party, wearing an all-white, floor-length halter-neck gown with sheer, shimmery accents.
