CFDA/VOGUE FASHION FUND AWARDS: THE BEST LOOKS ON THE RED CARPET
While florals are typically known to be reserved for sunny spring weather, celebrities and supermodels like Karlie Kloss, Zendaya and Olivia Munn switched up the status quo by donning floral printed and embroidered gowns. While Zendaya opted for a darker take on the print wearing a long-sleeve black and white floral cut-out gown, Olivia Munn opted for colourful floral embroideries that covered her black slit dress. Meanwhile, L'Oreal Paris muse Karlie Kloss went ultra sexy for the night, wearing a backless black and white long-sleeve gown with hints of red flowers throughout.
On the theme of spring trends, some celebs – like Hailey Baldwin – decided to attract attention on the red carpet with bold, warm weather hues. The up and coming supermodel wore an orange thigh-high slit dress with bright blue fringe tassels lining the sleeves. We love that Hailey wasn't afraid to go for it with this outfit choice!
If you're looking for a little bit of winter wardrobe inspiration, look no further. Metallics have become the look of choice among celebs over the past few seasons, and better yet, metallic makes for the perfect holiday outfit! While Solange Knowles stunned in a shiny silver suit, fashion model Faretta wore a shiny champagne coloured dress paired with a dark lip for the perfect wintry look!
EXTRA LARGE CUT-OUTS
Cut-outs have been a red carpet staple for years now. But last night, stars went above and beyond the expected, showing off major skin and cool cut-outs. Karlie Kloss, Nicola Peltz, Hailey Baldwin and Olivia Munn all wore their own versions of the classic cut-out, with some opting for stomach slits and others for thigh highs.
