On September 7, Chloë Grace Moretz presented her latest film The Equalizer at the Toronto International Film Festival. As big fans of Chloë's red carpet style, we couldn't wait to see what the 17-year old fashionista would come up with for TIFF 2014 and let us say: she did not disappoint!
Chloë looked fantastic in a structured lilac gown with coordinating makeup and a messy updo that's as easy to create as it is glamorous! Want to give it a go? Here's how...
An easy updo from TIFF
Starting with damp hair, distribute a dollop of curling mousse through your hair with a comb. Then, either dry your hair using a blow dryer or leave it to air dry.
Separate your hair into two sections, top and bottom. Then, use a curling iron with a large barrel to curl medium sections of hair, starting at the bottom before repeating the process with the hair on top. Once the hair is cool, brush through the curls to loosen them.
Use your fingers to separate a section of hair at the top front (your bangs) and then twist the hair as you move it to the back, pinning it in place as you go.
Next, use your fingers to loosely smooth the rest of your hair into a low ponytail. Secure the hair and then wrap it around the base of the ponytail into a bun (not too neatly!). Secure the ends with bobby pins.
Spray the style all over with hairspray to fix it in place and you're all done! Now that was easy, wasn't it?
