If you're a regular Get the Look reader, then you know how much we love a good short hairstyle! Though it's not always obvious, short styles such as the bob can actually be really versatile and easy to style. Recently, model Coco Rocha and actress Kate Mara both hit the red carpet with their chin-length bobs styled into an on-trend "wet look."
This A-list approved hairstyle has been hugely popular on both the red carpet and the runway over the last few seasons and is a great way to breathe new life into your look and/or add high drama to any ensemble. Let's take a closer look at Coco and Kate's looks and then you can let us know which one you prefer by casting your vote above!
Coco styled her bob into a sleek wet look with side part. While wet looks with longer hair usually focus the product onto the roots and leave the ends natural, Coco distributed the gel all the way down the length of the hair.
Just like Coco, Kate smoothed her hair behind her ears, but opted out of creating a part. She also left the ends of her hair product free, using just enough gel to keep the hair away from her face.
The real difference between their looks lies in their beauty choices. Both gals balanced out their wet look styles with dramatic beauty looks, but each went a different route. Kate lined her eyes with black kohl and kept the rest of her makeup natural, while Coco went high drama, not only applying dark grey eyeshadow to her lids, but also adding a sporting a vampy plum lip.
