Both these star-studded makeup looks can be achieved using the Lip Palette, which has an assortment of shades all in one place, making it extra convenient for the busy woman!
JEMIMA KIRKE AT THE MET GALA
The actress who plays Jessa, a free-spirited hippie on the television series Girls, is a true fashionista. Kirke dazzled on the red carpet with a bold all red makeup look at this year's Met Gala which took place on May 2nd in New York.
To get her monochromatic look, all you need is the Colour Riche Lip Palette in Ruby. Taking the oxblood shade, use a lip brush to line your lips before filling them in completely. You can also use the same shade to add some colour to the apples of your cheeks for a dewy effect. For a more wearable look than Jemima's, apply some brown kohl on the lids and on your lower lash line and blend it out into the crease using your finger. Top it off with a coat of mascara to lengthen the lashes and you're done!
THE FALL/WINTER HUSSEIN CHALAYAN SHOW
One of the most noteworthy makeup looks of Fall/Winter Fashion Week this year was the bold red lip at the Hussein Chalayan show. We love the discreet touches of pink used on the temples and brow bone to illuminate the face.
To get the look at home, start off by evening out your skin tone with a cushion foundation for an ultra creamy base. Then, using the Lip Palette in Nude, take a pink shade on the apples of your cheeks, above the brow, and on the temples. Next, apply a kohl pencil on the waterline for a little bit of definition. To finish off the look, apply the intense carmine red from the Lip Palette in Ruby all over your lips with a pencil brush.
