Recently, we've been keeping our eyes glued to the runway to bring you best Fashion Week hair and beauty looks. Our latest makeup crush is this cute cat eye, which took our breath away at the Elie Saab Spring-Summer 2015 Haute Couture collection show, which took place in Paris, France, on January 28, 2015.
Ellie Saab brought some serious vintage glamour to the parisian runways. The models' glamorous gowns in soft, pastel shades were adorned with sequins and feathers and their hair was teased into 50s pin curls worthy of the silver screen. It was no wonder, then that the classic cat eye was chosen as the makeup to match. Light silver eyeshadow was placed in juxtaposition with bold black liner to create a standout look. Recreate it with our easy tutorial below.
Get the look
Dot BB cream over your T-zone and cheekbones, then use a clean makeup sponge to blend it in for a seamless effect. For a shine-free finish, dust a little loose powder over your T-Zone with a large makeup brush.
Use a clean flocked applicator brush to apply your silver shadow to your eyelids, taking care not to go any higher than the crease level.
Using your favorite black eyeliner, trace your upper and lower lash lines and finish with a "cat eye" flick on the outer corners.
Finish with some volumizing mascara and a slick of pink lipstick in a dusky rose shade for the ultimate feminine finish. All set!
