As one of the shining young stars of the new Star Wars: the Force Awakens, actress Daisy Ridley shone on the world premiere red carpet this week, December 14. The 23-year-old actress stepped out in a stunning white lace Chloé gown with floral and polka dot embroidery and layers of ruffled, overlapping white fabric making up the skirt.
She then teamed her outfit with a soft grey eyeshadow with a hint of dazzling glitter, a warm blush on her cheeks and a natural nude-pink lipstick, keeping her whole makeup look sweet and girly for the event. To top it all off, this up-and-coming actress took her hairstyle back to the days of old Hollywood glamour by choosing vintage curls!

The long bob is everywhere at the moment, whether Zendaya Coleman is trying the trend, Gigi Hadid who is sending the celebrity world into hysterics with her cheeky red carpet hairstyle tricks, or whether its grazing the shoulders of our very own L'Oréal Paris ambassador - and queen of the bob hairstyle - Freida Pinto. And whenever we spot a fresh new way of styling the hottest hairstyle of 2015 so far, we have to make a tutorial so that you can recreate it for yourself! Are you ready?
Starting off with freshly washed hair, comb through your damp locks to detangle them, then smooth a leave-in conditioner through your lengths focusing on the tips. Use the comb to also create a side part at this stage.
Spritz your locks with a heat protection spray then blow dry, using a round-headed bristle brush to create movement and volume in your locks while also continuing to smooth and detangle any prevailing knots.
Once your hair is dry, give your hair another mist of heat protection, then use a 1.5" curling iron to create loose curls throughout your locks from the point of your temple downwards. Wrap the curls in alternate directions to create variation and volume and tease them as they cool with either a wide-toothed comb or your fingers to make them loose and relaxed.
Finish by tucking one side of your hair back behind your ear and spritz your locks with a strong hold hairspray.
