Drew Barrymore has been looking absolutely radiant these days; Is it "pregnancy glow" or flower power? Our gallery has the best of Drew's floral maternity style!
In full bloom
Finding your signature style is no easy task, and neither is maintaining it during pregnancy. For fashion-lovers, managing to stay both stylish and comfortable while accomodating a constantly growing baby bump is often cited as one of the most difficult parts of maternity .
Since this is baby #2 for Drew, she's likely got a few maternity style tricks up her sleeves, and we think we're on to one of them: floral prints ! Drew is a longtime floral fan and for good reason: floral prints are ultra-feminine, super versatile, and can be either quirky or classic depending on how you style them.
Another plus? A colorful or busy all-over print can take away some of the focus from the belly, which may be the area you feel most insecure about. The eye takes in the whole outfit, rather than breaking it up into sections. Let's take a closer look at some of Drew's looks...
- Before Drew had announced her second pregnancy, she appeared on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. She was already pregnant at the time and disguised her tiny bump with a black floral print jumpsuit.
- For the Baby2Baby gala , Drew opted for a light grey and white floral shift dress that draped to floor length. She kept her look natural, with a simply hairstyle and natural makeup.
- At the Grammy Awards, Drew looked radiant in a white dress with 3D pink and red flowers. The dress was so quirky and matched Drew's bubbly personality so well. Even if she didn't feel great, she sure looked it!
- At the Hollywood Stands Up to Cancer event, Drew showed off her bump in a tight fitting dress that hit just below knee-length (showing off a little leg is a nice change of pace from her typically floor-length numbers). The print was bright but had a lot of negative space so it wasn't too overwhelming.
