ELLE magazine celebrated some of Hollywood's most extraordinary women at their 21st annual 'Women in Hollywood Awards'. The event, sponsored by L'Oréal Paris, took place at the lavish Four Seasons Hotel in LA and was attended by a whole host of A-listers. Not-so-surprisingly, we took the star-studded event as an opportunity for some serious beauty inspiration! Here are our five favorite looks...
Emmy Rossum's dramatic cat eye
Emmy Rossum donned a stunning black and silver ensemble for her appearance. The star paired cat flick eyeliner with smoky eye shadow, defined brows and nude lipstick. Her classic low ponytail was a great hairstyle to accompany the beauty look as it allowed her statement eye make up to shine and accentuated her glowing complexion.
Michelle Monaghan's glowing, bronzed look
Fall might well be here but Michelle Monaghan retained the summer spirit with her glowing, bronzed look. The Best of Me star created a glowing sun-kissed look using bronzer, XL lashes and bold eyeliner. Pairing the look with a chignon and nude lipstick was a smart move that helped her flawless golden complexion take the limelight.
Kaley Cuoco's 60s eye makeup
Kaley Cuoco showed off her take on the retro trend with a striking cat-flick eyeliner that Audrey Hepburn herself would be proud of. The Big Bang Theory star softened the striking look by pairing it with lilac eyeshadow, light pink lipstick and a touch of pink blush.
Kerry Washington's colored eyeliner
Kerry Washington used her makeup to create a coordinating look. The American actress' bright eyeliner picked up the blue from her figure-hugging dress and accentuated her XL lashes. Her sleek updo and pink lipstick finished off the demure style.
Doutzen Kroes' matte coral lip
Doutzen Kroes also used her makeup to inject some color into her white ensemble. The Dutch model (and L'Oréal Paris spokesperson) wore her signature golden curls in a loose feminine style which framed the face and showed off her matte coral pink lipstick.
So, which one will you go for?
