On March 14, 2015, Canadian actress Emily Bett Rickards attended the event for Arrow and The Flash as part of PaleyFest 2015 in Hollywood, California. The star wore a charcoal and black mini dress with navy blue cape blazer, which she paired with a tousled curly updo and natural yet sophisticated makeup.
We love Emily's easygoing approach to red carpet makeup- her look was put-together and pretty without going over the top, making it a perfect day time look! Her subtle lip color and blush add warmth to the skin, while liner on the top lash lines subtly defined her eyes... gorgeous! So, want to recreate the star's style? Here's how...
Get the Look
Step one: For lightweight coverage, apply BB cream to your face using a damp foundation sponge. Dot and smooth the product from the center of the face toward the edges for a natural finish.
Step two: Use a blush brush to sweep a peachy shade over the apples of your cheeks.
Step three: For perfectly defined brows, brush through them with tinted gel to create the illusion of volume and keep them in place all day long.
Step four: To add definition to your eyes, use a liquid liner along the top lash lines (also known as tightlining). Keep the product as close to the root of your lashes as possible so your lashes look naturally thick. Finish with two coats of black mascara.
Step five: Complete your beauty look with a lipstick that's only a few shades away from your natural lip color and you're all set.
Simple but effective!
