From Natasha Poly's dramatic cat eyes to Barbara Palvin's extra large lashes, we've seen our favourite L'Oreal muses and stars rocking some of spring-summer's hottest beauty trends on the Cannes red carpet this year. The latest set of muses to hit the red carpet are following a similar route, demonstrating some of our favourite trends in fashion and beauty at last night's premiere of The Unknown Girl.
The trend that caught our attention? Feathered fringe gowns on muses Soo Joo Park and Irina Shayk . And while the fringe may have been scarce, it was enough to bring a taste of the roaring '20s to the red carpet.
SOO JOO PARK'S '20S TAKE ON FEATHERED FRINGE
South Korean muse Soo Joo Park stepped out onto last night's red carpet wearing a sleek black gown adorned with patchwork patterns, black floral embellishments, sequins, and of course, small pieces of feathered fringe that stuck out from every angle. The squared neckline and long, rectangular silhouette of the gown, gave this iconic '20s flapper look a modern reinvention.
The L'Oreal muse slicked her back into a neat, tight knotted bun, and opted for minimal eye makeup that allowed her bold red lip to stand out against her fair skin and blonde locks. We can't wait to see what Soo Joo has in store next!
IRINA SHAYK'S FEATHERED FRINGE AND BEDAZZLED GOWN
L'Oreal muse and brunette bombshell Irina Shayk also adopted the feathered fringe trend that defined flapper style in the '20s for her red carpet appearance. But while Soo Joo opted for a full-on flapper-esque feathered style, Irina took a more subdued approach to the trend wearing a simple black gown with white fringes along the bottom.
As for her beauty routine, Irina opted for minimal eye makeup and and ultra-dewy skin that gave her a healthy, youthful glow. She pulled her hair back into an up-do for a simple, yet sophisticated look.
