Festivals often seem like a million miles from your ordinary life. The good changes include rocking all day long, camping under the stars and bonding with fellow festival goers. Other changes to your daily routine may be less pleasant. You probably aren't managing to eat healthily and you might not have constant shower access.
Speaking of which, how do you handle the limited facilities issue? Here are some tips for keeping your hair looking good for all of those festival pics that you want to take and post all over Instagram!
1. Put it up
This is the easiest trick in the books. Whether you tie your hair up in a ponytail or a bun, you will definitely minimize the unclean look of your hair. Luckily for you, messy bun styles are actually fashionable these days!
2. Wear a hat
Or, like the girl in the photo, a flower crown. We have no idea if this girl at Cornbury Festival washed her hair or not. That's a good thing!
3. Try dry shampoo
Some people swear by dry shampoo, while others don't think that it works at all. Try it out! If it works on your hair type, then it can be a lifesaver.
4. Do a braided hairstyle
Pulling your hair back in one or several French braids is a great way to keep it tidy. There are lots of great braided styles and the good news is, once you have it in, it pretty much stays in... especially if you combat the frizzies with gel, wax and hairspray!
