Actress and L'Oréal Paris ambassador Julianne Moore shone on the red carpet of the 2016 Golden Globe Awards on Sunday (January 10). Last year's Best Actress winner took to the red carpet alongside director, fashion designer and friend Tom Ford, who also happens to be the creator of her gorgeous midnight blue gown! Let's take a closer look...
The blue sequined column gown gently hugged the star's slender frame and offered a healthy dose of glitz to the glamorous red carpet! A floor-length hemline and long sleeves covered the actress up, while blue velvet details at the neck and shoulder exposed one shoulder. The vibrant color really complemented the actress' naturally pale complexion and auburn hair.
Of course, our favorite part of the look had to be Julianne's makeup! Her skin was absolutely glowing, her eyes perfectly defined, and her lips the perfect shade of nude. Want to recreate it for yourself? Here's how...
Starting with clean, moisturized skin, apply a radiance-enhancing liquid foundation. Use a foundation sponge to apply the product, tapping it into the skin to create a natural finish. Next, conceal any dark circles or blemishes with a hydrating concealer. Finish your base with a wash of pink cream blush on the apples of your cheeks, working up towards your temples.
Use a fluffy eyeshadow brush to apply a light pink eyeshadow to the inner corners of your eyes and onto the eyelids. Next, trace your lash lines with a medium rose shade and blend it out softly. Finally apply a taupe shade at the outer corners, blending up along the brow bone. Complete your eye makeup with two coats of black mascara.
A slick of nude lip color will give you the perfect pout!
