Karim Rahman, L'Oréal Paris' makeup expert, has put together this tutorial for gorgeous, graphic eye makeup. You've seen this look all over the runway and the red carpet, now you can create it at home! Ready?
The graphic cat eye
Start by tracing a thin line of black liquid eyeliner along the lash line of the eyelid, and under your lower lashes. Then, starting from the inner corner of the eye, draw another thin line along the crease of your lid - where it meets the brow bone - and finishing in a slightly upward-angled straight line.
Next, use your liner to trace over the first line, increasing the thickness by applying more pressure to the brush. Continue the line down towards the nose.
From the outer corner of your eye, continue the straight line up towards the top of your ear, then a line back down, meeting the liner under your eye, to create a graphic triangular shape.
Take out your Infallible Blackbuster eyeliner and use it to fill in the space on your lid that you created with your first liner. Start fillling in at the inner corner, and move outwards.
Wait for the lid to dry on one eye before starting the other. Once both graphic cat eyes are dry, apply a black kohl liner to your waterline, and finish the look with a couple of coats of mascara, such as Voluminous Butterfly.
This is a look that takes a bit of courage, but one that can be a real showstopper, and that isn't too tricky to achieve!
