Looking for a daring and dramatic eye makeup look for your next evening out? This standout smoky eye, featuring gorgeous graphic detailing, might just be the boldest makeup to come out of Paris Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2015 so far, so give it a go!
Bold and beautiful
At the Versace show, the models eyes were accentuated with this bold and beautiful look, which was just as eye-catching as the vibrant clothing color scheme. Marrying the smoky eye and cat eye trends, this look is seriously on point so wearing it is guaranteed to establish your fashion credentials.
Start with a glowing complexion. Mask any imperfections with a concealer stick, then massage a BB cream into your skin for a natural but luminous glow.
Apply a little more concealer to the skin under your eyes to mask any dark circles, then prep your eye area with an eye primer which will keep the look in place for as long as possible.
Apply a nude eyeshadow to your eyelids. Then, take a black kohl eyeliner pencil and use it to outline your upper and lower lash lines, extending the line a little at the outer corners.
Next take a dark gunmetal grey eyeshadow and apply it to the outer halves of your lower lash lines and eyelids.
Take the black kohl eyeliner and use it to trace the crease between your eyelids and your eyebrows, extending it so that it's parallel with the outer corners of your eyebrows.
Now it's time to get that smudgy, sultry finish! Take a clean flocked applicator brush or a Q-Tip and use it to blend all of the tones together.
Finish by treating your lashes to a couple of coats of volumizing mascara to complete your "look at me" gaze. All set!
