BELLA HADID: '90S-INSPIRED HIGH PONYTAIL
If you have long to medium length hair, Bella Hadid's '90s-inspired ponytail is definitely one look you'll want to try out this season. It's an easy way to style your hair while keeping it away from your face at the same time. Give your high ponytail a '90s touch by leaving out two large sections of hair on each side of your head (or your bangs, if you have them) for a total Baby Spice look. Finish off your look with a choker around your neck!
KARLIE KLOSS: MESSY WAVES
With the right styling products, messy waves are much easier to achieve than one might imagine. To achieve dishevelled waves like Karlie's, spray damp, towel-dried hair with a texture spray and scrunch it through using your fingers. Once your hair is totally dry, spray it with a thermal protective spray, then curl large chunks of hair using a curling iron. Scrunch the hair once again for an extra messy look and finish off with a generous amount of hairspray!
BARBARA PALVIN: DISCHEVELLED BRAIDS
At a recent photo shoot with L'Oreal Paris, Barbara Palvin adopted a set of textured braids that were dipped with a touch of pink. To achieve a simple look like hers, separate your hair into a centre part, and section it off into two sections on each side of your head. Using a comb, back comb the lengths of your hair to create texture. Then, begin braiding on one side of your head. Once you've finished, repeat on the other side and secure with elastics. Gently pull the braid apart using your fingers to create added volume, then pull out a few strands of hair around your face.
KYLIE JENNER: THE SMOOTH PONYTAIL
While high ponytail's are great for cool '90s vibes like Bella Hadid's, and low ponytails are great for laidback, lazy girl looks, mid ponytails create a smooth, put-together look that is often overlooked. Take note from Kylie Jenner, who wore her hair in a smooth, mid ponytail that was both casual and sophisticated at the same time. Get this look by parting your hair down the centre, then use a brush to bring it up to the centre of your head. Secure with an elastic. Spray a generous amount of hairspray onto a comb, then brush it through the top of your head to make sure there are no flyaways. For an even smoother look, you can use a flat iron to straighten the hair within the ponytail – just don't forget the thermal protective spray!
TAYLOR HILL: THE CASUAL BUN
American supermodel Taylor Hill is a fan of casual, easy-to-do hairstyles. One of her favourites? A high deconstructed bun. To get this look, pull your hair up into a high ponytail and lock in the hair using an elastic. Use your fingers to gently pull at the bun to create a messy, voluminous look. Finish off with a layer of hairspray to hold the look together.
