The 2016 Sundance Film Festival is currently underway in Park City, Utah, bringing your favorite stars out in full force! Actress Riley Keough (yep, Elvis' granddaughter) hit the red carpet on January 23 to present her new TV series The Girlfriend Experience, and while we can't wait to check it out on Starz in April, we don't think we'll be able to wait that long to try out the actresss' perfect ponytail!
Face-framing sections tucked behind the ears, just the right amount of volume at the crown, and a concealed hair tie are the ideal recipe for this effortless hairstyle. And with ponytails being more popular than ever this season, there's really no excuse not to try it!
Get the look
Starting with dry hair, spritz the mid-lengths and ends generously with heat protection spray and then create loose waves with a curling wand. Section off your face-framing pieces and secure them to the side, then use your fingers to softly back comb your hair at the crown.
Smooth all of your hair back with a brush and secure it with a hair tie. Grab a small section of hair from your ponytail and wrap it around the base, concealing the elastic. Then, secure the ends of that small section with a bobby pin.
Let your face-framing sections loose and part them in the center. Tuck each side behind the ears and then mist your hair with hairspray to complete the look. That's all there is to it!
