If you're looking for a new way to add some stylish glamour to your autumn/winter wardrobe, we've got just the solution for you: a classic black wool hat, as seen on Jenna Dewan Tatum. Eureka!
On October 30, the Step Up dancer/actress attended a special q&a as part of the 17th Annual Savannah Film Festival. Dressed casual chic in a loose chambray shirt paired with black slacks and strappy heels, Jenna's look was topped off by her tomboyish hat. And that's what we call autumn style perfection!
Great hats, great hairstyles
Jenna's wool hat adds a touch of vintage charm to her sophisticated look, which wouldn't be nearly so successful if she wasn't also rocking a gorgeous fall hairstyle! That's right, great hats require great hairstyles, and windswept waves are not only appropriate for fall, they're an ideal style to pair with a hat. So, want to try it? Here's how...
Starting with damp hair, distribute a curl-creating mousse throughout and then comb through your hair to make sure the product is evenly distributed. Then, spritz your hair all over with heat protectant spray.
Use your blow dryer and hands to rough dry your hair, twisting medium sections of hair as you dry to create loose curls.
Top tip: If you can, avoid using a brush, which will create curls that are too uniform and perfect. You're going for a slightly disheveled look here!
Once the hair is dry, use your fingers to break the curls up. Spray lightly with hairspray or salt spray to create a matte finish and you're all set!
