Is there any hairstyle more popular right now than waves? From mid-length to long, this cool, easygoing look has taken the world by storm! While some gals like Blake Lively like to tease their hair up into high-volume textured waves, others like British model Cara Delevingne and the Haim sisters opt for low-key barely there waves. Personally, we think both have their merits!
Cara's red carpet waves
If you love the relaxed waves Cara Delevingne wore to the Burberry "London in Los Angeles" event on April 16, then you're in luck! Get the Look has created an easy tutorial for recreating the look at home. Perfect for day or night, this hairstyle is definitely one to have on hand this season!
To avoid frizz and help your hair stay smooth, start by making sure that it's well-hydrated. Opt for washing and conditioning with products from a nourishing haircare range, and rinse it out well with room-temperature water (not hot!).
Once you've come out of the shower, spray your hair with heat protection spray and then work styling mousse throughout. Use a large round brush to blow dry your hair smooth from root to ends, giving the brush a slight curl toward the ends.
Create a slightly off-center part. Grab a medium section of hair on one side and then use a curling iron to curl it. On the other side, create two random curls. Use your fingers to gently break the curls up and spray your hair all over with hairspray to finish the look. All done!
