by Florence Valencourt -

Ravishing Thai ambassador, Araya A. Hargate, has become a regular Cannes Film Festival attendee thanks to her partnership with L'Oréal Paris. During the 68th annual event, the pretty brunette sat down with Get the Look to talk Cannes, social media, and makeup!

Get the Look: What does the French Riviera mean to you?

For me, it's all about the Festival - a certain excitement and dreams coming true. But what's funny is that I only know the city during that time of year. I'm curious to see what it's like once the Festival is over, how the people live, etc.

GTL: This is your third time at Cannes, have you developed any little habits?

Yes, two croissants every morning for breakfast! It's terrible because I have to watch my figure, but they're so good I can't resist.

GTL: What does the Hotel Martinez mean to you?

It's where I meet up with all of the girls and the L'Oréal Paris team. When I come here, I know everyone, it's really nice. Now, when I hear the word "Martinez" it reminds me of good things!

GTL: Let's talk about beauty - of this season's trends, which lipstick shade is your favorite?

In Thailand I'm lucky to have my own lipstick, "Pure Ruby", a beautiful red. This is not the hottest color in fashion, but it's mine.

GTL: Which recent product(s) from L'Oréal Paris do you love most?

In Asia, we created a special line for the Festival called "Born to be a Star"- it's our vision of French Riviera glamour.

GTL: Would you dare try underliner or colored liner?

I don't think so. I never go out without putting on a little eyeliner and mascara, especially at the outer corners. It's become my signature look.

GTL: Are you a "connected spokesperson"? Do you like Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Vine?

Instagram! It's huge in Thailand. Everyone is on and I have 3.4 million followers, it's crazy!

GTL: Can you show me a photo on your phone that you like?

(Photo from her wedding day a few weeks ago, wearing a custom Giambattista Valli gown)

GTL: Do you listen to music on your phone? If so, what?

I am very mainstream: Katy Perry, Rihanna and Beyonce! Queen B all the way!

GTL: What's your festival hashtag?
