Since winning an Oscar award for her role in Still Alice, you could say Julianne Moore has been seeing the world through rose colored glasses. At the 10th Anniversary event of L'Oréal Paris' Women of Worth on March 3, 2015, Julianne decided to encorporate the color into her beauty look as well! Dressed in a forest green and navy blue dress, the actress styled her hair in low-key waves and opted for pink makeup to pull it all together.
Fresh and fun
While normally a fan of natural, neutral makeup looks, this time around Julianne opted for something fresh and fun. For the celebratory evening, she opted for monochromatic look with candy pink lipstick, shimmery pink blush on the apples of her cheeks, and even a muted pink eyeshadow.
To get the look, apply matte foundation to your face and set it with translucent powder. Apply pink blush to the apples of your cheeks, sweeping up toward the temples. Use an eyeshadow brush to apply pink shadow to your lids before lining your waterlines with brown liner (to offer the most natural definition). Lengthen your lashes with two coats of mascara. Finally, complete the look with candy pink lipstick to perfect your pout!
For her hairstyle, Julianne opted for soft waves, one of her favorites! This style is great for adding soft texture to the hair while showing off its natural shine. It's also right at home among the "unstyles" that have become so popular with the rise of the natural looks.
So, will you be copying Julianne's rosy look?
