With the final installment of The Hunger Games film franchise, Mockingjay - Part 2, hitting theatres this week, the cast has been busy attending its many premieres around the world. Wednesday evening, November 18, saw Jennifer Lawrence, Liam Hemsworth, Josh Hutcherson, Natalie Dormer, and our very own L'Oréal Paris ambassador Julianne Moore take to the red carpet once again in New York City!
An A+ look
The 2014-15 Awards Season established Moore as one of Hollywood's best-dressed stars and she certainly lived up to expectations at last night's event, donning a dazzling emerald-green tiered dress by Chanel which looked gorgeous with her pale porcelain skin and warm dark copper hair color. To complete the look, she styled her hair smooth and sleek, and opted for a makeup look that perfectly complemented her fiery locks!
Personally, we love the idea of offsetting dreary winter ensembles in black and blue with warm lip tints and eyeshadows. So, if you're ready to add some heat to your winter look, then follow our tutorial...
Julianne's copper makeup
The first step to any winter beauty routine should be moisturizer! Apply a pea-sized amount to your skin to hydrate and smooth it. Next, use a foundation brush to apply a lightweight tinted moisturizer or foundation, working from the center out towards the edges for a natural finish.
As foundation tends to cancel out your natural coloring, you'll need to replicate that healthy flush with blush! Use a fluffy brush to apply a nude color to the apples of your cheeks.
Use a brush to apply copper eyeshadow to your lids, working right up into the creaselines and then apply the color along the lower lashlines as well. Make sure the color totally frames your eyes. Finally, lengthen your lashes with two coats of black mascara.
Complete your look with a complementary burnt-pink lipstick, remembering to blot and reapply for longer lasting color!
