Karlie Kloss, Julianne Moore: ambassadors open the Cannes Film Festival

The Cannes Film Festival simply wouldn't be as glitzy and glamorous without the sublime L'Oréal Paris muses in attendance! Partners for 18 years, the French beauty brand brings plenty of unforgettable red carpet style and beauty to this unique cinematic event each year. For the Opening Ceremony of the Festival on May 13, spokespeople Karlie Kloss, Doutzen Kroes, Julianne Moore, Naomi Watts, Liya Kebede, Fan BingBing, and Leila Bekhti rang in the festivites.

THE FESTIVAL OPENS IN STYLE

Accompanied by the cast of La Tête Haute (out of competition), the beauty ambassadors brought elegance and style to the red carpet of the 68th edition. To our surprise, French actress Leila Bekhti shone in a powder pink dress by Giambattista Valli, for a totally soft, angelic look. The romantic ensemble truly lit up the red carpet!

Supermodels Doutzen Kroes and Karlie Kloss were clearly inspired by a certain color: white! The two rocked the fresh hue in all its splendour, looking both modern and sophisticated in revealing floor-length column dresses.

Julianne Moore oozed refinement in a grey and black Armani Privé gown, combining a stunning deep neckline and puffed sleeves adorned with feathers. The gown was adorned all over with sparkling beads to ensure Julianne shimmered in the cameras lights.

Another feathered ambassador was Australian Naomi Watts! The short-sleeve gown by Elie Saab featured a bead encrusted bodice with a plunging neckline and open back, which then gave way to a full feathered floor-length skirt.

Chinese actress Fan BingBing opted for an ornate princess dress in a soft pink color with green and white floral motif. Another daring number was spotted on Ethipoian model Liya Kebede. The Louis Vuitton dress was adorned all over with yellow and white sequins, providing an explosion of color!

Feathers, sequins, trains... the Cannes red carpet offered just as much glamour as we'd hoped!
