September 15, 2015, marked yet another day of glamour at the Toronto International Film Festival as American actress Kate Mara took to the red carpet to present director Dito Montiel's Man Down. The thriller-drama stars Shia LaBeouf as a man desperately searching for his missing wife (Mara) and son in a post-apocalyptic world.

The festival has certainly been a busy time for Kate, who appeared on the red carpet for the first time last Friday, September 11, at the premiere of Ridley Scott's new Matt Damon-lead drama The Martian. Of course, a jam-packed promotional schedule hasn't stopped stylish Kate from bringing one captivating look after another to the Toronto festival! Let's check out her Man Down style...
Kate turned heads in a gorgeous little black dress by Marc Jacobs boasting a plunging neckline, scalloped hem, and floral-motif bead embellishments. While Kate normally opts for minimalist, structural pieces on the red carpet, her look last night hugged her every curve while the sheer panel really drew attention to her slim waistline.
Proving that short hair is anything but boring, Kate found yet another way to style her new pixie cut: wet look! To get the same, apply styling gel to wet hair and then create a deep side part. Use a comb to smooth the hair to the side and back, then allow it to dry.
Kate kept the focus on her eyes with this beauty look. To get the same, unify your complexion with matte foundation before warming up the skin with a wash of pink blush. Apply a line of shimmery charcoal eyeshadow along the bottom lash lines and outer corner of your eyes before lining the top and bottom waterlines with black eyeliner. Maximize your lashes with black mascara and coat your lips with nude lipstick to complete the look.
