Kristin might be approaching her delivery date, but that hasn't slowed down her sense of style! We've been loving her looks, like this braided headband she wore at NBCUniversal's 2014 Summer Press Day.
If you're looking for a new way to style your long hair that looks romantic with a little 'flower child' edge to it, then this is the one for you...
The Braided Headband
Before starting, take a 2" section of hair from behind you ear and separate from the rest with an elastic. Arrange your hair into a center part.
If you want to style your braided headband with waves like Kristen, use a curling iron and some salt spray scrunched into the waves with your palms to get that tousled beach hair look.
Take the section from behind your ear, remove the elastic, and loosely braid it. Don't worry if it's a little messy, this style looks great with a few flyaways!
Pull the braid over the top of your head and use bobby pins to secure it behind the other ear. You'll probably need a couple to make sure it doesn't come loose.
Finish with hairspray, and you're done!
Other ways to style your braided headband:
Option A) Experiment with different-sized braids, and position them over different areas on the top of your head to see what suits you best.
Option B) Instead of starting with a center part, try pulling your hair back and away from your face before you start braiding. This will give you a cleaner, more sophisticated braided look.
Option C) Why not braid on both sides of the head, and do a double-braided headband?
