MAKEUP INSPIRATION: EMILY RATAJKOWSKI AT THE GOLDEN GLOBES
For her Golden Globes red carpet appearance, Emily adopted a flawless matte complexion that she enhanced with a touch of bronzer for the ultimate sun-kissed look that complemented her canary yellow gown.
To get this look, start off by prepping your base with a matte finish liquid foundation. Use a damp sponge or brush to apply the foundation, creating an even skin tone throughout. Next, set your base using a matte powder. Once you've perfected your base, apply a bronzing blush onto your cheekbones all the way up to your temples, then apply it from your temples, slightly onto your forehead. Finish off by applying the blush onto your jaw line for a bronzed finish that enhances your best features.
Now for the fun part: the yellow eye makeup. To match her gown, Emily adopted a golden yellow eye shadow on her lids and lower lash line, then enhanced her eyes further with a lengthening mascara.
To get this look, apply a golden yellow shadow onto your eyelids, blending it up using a fluffy brush to your brow bone and into your inner corners. Next, use an angled brush to apply the same shadow underneath your lower lash line. Finish off by applying L'Oreal's Voluminous mascara onto your upper and lower lashes, moving your hand in a back and forth motion to avoid clumping!
Finish off your spring-inspired look by coating your lips with a peach-y shade of matte lipstick. Start off by outlining your lips with a colour that matches your lipstick choice, emphasizing your Cupid's Bow and over-lining slightly to make your lips appear more plump.
Fill in the surface of your lips with your peach lipstick and you're officially ready for warm weather!
