Rachel Zoe's Autumn/Winter 2015 presentation took place on February 17th as part of New Work Fashion Week. Speaking with The Daily Mail, Zoe commented on the collection, saying:
"This season I decided to move away from bohemia. This collection is a contemporary take on mod fashion. It's also fall - my favorite season- which means tailored coats, wool suiting and lots of layering. I love everything about it."
With it's simple monochromatic palette (save for the odd pop of coral thrown in), selection of A-line mini skirts, wide-legged trousers, and fur accents, we have to admit: we kind of love everything about it, too!
Of course, being the beauty obsessed gals that we are, we also have to admit that our favorite part of the presentation was the stunning 1960s babydoll beauty. Think: youthful flushed cheeks, shimmery nude lips, and those thick, fluttery lashes!
GET THE LOOK
To master baby doll lashes, our go-to is Miss Manga mascara by L'Oreal Paris. The product boasts a 360° conical brush to apply the mega black formula onto each lash. An implacable weapon for an ultra‑precise make-up ritual, giving loads of volume to upper and lower lashes alike.
Place the brush horizontally at the base of your lashes.
Make zigzag movements as you move away from the face, covering each lash from root to tip thanks to the flexor system of the brush.
Capture the lower lashes with the conical tip of the brush.
To complete the look, anchor your eyebrows with the Brow Artist Plumper. Brush your brows up and then run the mascara-like wand across your brows to darken their color and thicken the hair.
