Milan Men's Fashion Week: summer street style and beauty inspirations

by Samantha Hunt -

With the Milan Men's Fashion Week currently in full swing, all the bloggers, trend-setters and fashion 'it-girls' have been taking to the streets to give us a show of their own! There have been gorgeous displays of color and pattern, with summer taking center-stage in sunny Milan to show us exactly how to have some fashion fun this season. Here is a sneaky peak at some of our favorite looks from the Italian streets so far...

La dolce moda

If there is one thing to take away from the Italian fashion capital, it's that the Dolce Vita is always a matter of style! Bloggers and fashionistas have stormed the city in the past week, coming from all over the world to get a taste of the latest trends, as well as the Italian cuisine! Here are some of the key trends we have been spotting and stealing for ourselves:

Pattern

In Milan, the key is definitely to be bold and daring! From the summer stripes of fashionista Irina Buffa to Aimee Song's print and color clashes, there is a patterned print for everyone! We particularly loved Eleonora Carisi's vintage-style floral printed yellow jumpsuit.

Bohemian

Team a long floaty skirt with a crop top like Italian Sara Rossetto's all-white ensemble to work that summer boho chic look, or keep things simple in a flowing, loose-fitting pastel shade for a more romantic twist.

Minimalist

Give your style a loose-fitting boyfriend cut with a minimalist blouse like fashionista Daniela Zuccotti, or pick a preppy vibe from Jenny Walton's wardrobe with a shirt and skirt combo.

Skirts

The skirt, whatever it's length or style, is always a key summer staple for any wardrobe. This it-piece of this season's look has been everywhere on the streets on Milan this week, especially in one particular warm color... yellow! Get inspired by all the fashion bloggers currently wearing this color in long, flowing materials for boho style, or inject your office look with this sunshine shade in a more tailored fit.

Now it's your turn to inject some of that Italian Dolce Vita into your wardrobe...
