The femme fatale-inspired LBD – or in other words, little black dress – has definitely made its fair share of appearances on the Cannes 2016 red carpet so far. From Doutzen Kroes ' effortlessly chic LBD, to Eva Longoria's strapless bedazzled one, and Kristina Bazan's voluminous number complimented by a dramatic cat eye, the little (or not so little) black dress has reigned as the gown of choice for this year's festivities.
According to the most recent red carpet looks, this timeless creation shows no signs of slowing down.
MISS FAME'S FEMME FATALE-INSPIRED BLACK DRESS
For the red carpet premiere of The BFG, Miss Fame brought shock value to the red carpet with her electric red, old Hollywood curls and matching red lip. As for her gown, she opted for a strapless number that cinched her slender waist and flared out towards the bottom. To top it off, the gown featured a V-shaped bust, and was paired with elbow length sheer black gloves for the ultimate femme fatale look.
LI YUCHUN'S VOLUMOUS BLACK DRESS
Meanwhile, on the same night, China's L'Oreal muse Li Yuchun had the same idea, opting for an all-black long-sleeved gown that flared out into a sea of leather at the waist, giving her a slight dominatrix look. The gown came equipped with a plunging neckline, which made way for Li's glamorous silver necklace.
