NAOMI WATTS: QUEEN OF THE VENICE FILM FESTIVAL
AN ELIE SAAB COUTURE GOWN
When it comes to looking like a modern day princess on the red carpet, Elie Saab is the go-to designer for celebrities, including Naomi Watts. Characterized by floral embroidery, sequins, and feminine fabrics, Elie Saab gowns are the key to looking ultra glamorous when attending a high-profile event.
For her appearance at the 73rd Venice Film Festival, Naomi wore a nude, slightly sheer Elie Saab creation that came adorned with an extra large thigh-high slit that showed off her legs. The dress was embellished with everything from bird to flower and heart-shaped embroidery made with gold and navy rhinestones that were fit for a modern day princess like Naomi. Our favourite part about this gown? The gorgeous navy waist belt that highlighted the embroidery in the dress and accentuated her slender silhouette.
AN ACCESSORIZED HAIRSTYLE
While this red carpet queen may not have worn a crown, she did show up for the festivities with the modern equivalent: embroidered hair clips. Her short hair was pulled back behind her head and adorned with tiny hair elastics and colourfully embroidered hair clips that complimented her gown.
The top portion of her hair was back combed up for maximum volume and body, while the ends of her hair were curled towards the sky for a retro feel. This season, don't be afraid to accessorize with fun clips and bobby pins to spice up your hair routine!
To complete her modern day princess look, Naomi went with timeless, classic makeup. Her complexion was bright, as always and enhanced with a lightweight foundation and a touch of blush on the apples of her cheeks. Her eyes were coated with metallic silver shadow and lashes made long and full with mascara on her top and bottom lids. Her look was perfected with a coat of glossy red lipstick that made her stand out from the crowd!
Stay tuned on Get The Look to see what Naomi will bring to the table for TIFF 2016!
