With London Fashion Week now in full swing, we are keeping our eyes on both the runway and the front row to check out which gorgeous beauty looks we'll be stealing for our fall palettes! Today, we're taking a look at the soft, natural makeup of one of Burberry's rising talents, Indian model Neelam Gill, who was seen at the brands Womenswear show on September 21.
We loved her nude makeup palette, perfectly accentuating her dark hair, warm brown eyes and her luminous complexion. We actually loved it so much, we had to check out how to do it ourselves!
Natural in nude
Starting on clean, moisturized skin, swap your regular foundation for a lightweight BB cream to get both healthy hydration while still covering those imperfections and problem areas. Apply in small circles starting from the center of your face and work out towards your hair line. Allow for the cream to fully absorb before touching up with a concealer to combat any persisting redness or dark circles beneath your eyes.
Finish your flawless complexion with an illuminating powder quad: dust the darker shade into the hollows of your cheeks, along the sides of your nose and around your temples. Switch to the lighter shade to dust the high points of your face, like the bridge of your nose, your forehead and your Cupid's bow.
Soft sable eyeshadow
Next, the eyes! Use a soft-headed eyeshadow brush to lightly dust a matte sable shade over your lids and up to the crease lines, switching to a slightly smaller application brush to dab the color under your lower lashes for a soft, smoky effect. Give your upper lashes a coat of mascara and leave your bottom lashes bare.
Finally, the best contrast to a matte eyeshadow palette has to be a glossy lip shade! To master Neelam's full pout, give your lips a coat of a mauve-pink lipstick before switching to a soft, lighter lip gloss to add a touch of light to the center of both your top and bottom lips.
