Once your base coat has dried, cut 10 small pieces of thin nail art tape and apply them to the center of each nail, roughly 1/3 of the way up. Then, paint each nail with two coats of black nail polish.

Once the black polish has totally dried, paint each nail with a mattifying top coat. Any shine will fade as the top coat dries, leaving you with perfectly matte manicured nails!
