Paris Fashion Week SS15: romantic blush tutorial

by Hannah Ikin -

We've been keeping our eyes glued to the runways of Paris Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2015 to bring you our favorite fashion, hair and beauty trends from the show. We fell for this rosy cheeked look the moment that we set eyes upon it at the Veronique Leroy show and we just had to create a beauty tutorial for you!

Fall for blush this fall!

Now that summer is officially over, we'll be trading bronzer for blush to create a romantic, rosy glow. If applied properly, blush recreates that healthy glow that we get when stepping outside in the cold. It also brings color and structure to the face, making it extremely wearable. So, there's no real reason not to fall for this pretty pink beauty look this fall!

Get the look

Step one

This look requires a natural, glowing complexion. Prep the skin with a primer, then apply a light-reflecting foundation over the top. Top tip: Using a (clean!) makeup sponge should help you to achieve a truly flawless finish.

Step two

Use soft charcoal grey kohl pencil to outline your lower lashline. Top tip: use a Q Tip to smudge the line for a soft, natural finish. This particular shade works well with pink, and comes accross as less harsh than black.

Step three

Use a brow pencil to fill in your eyebrows and bring some definition to your face.

Step four

Now to get that rosy glow! Smile, then use a blush brush to dust your blusher over the apples of your cheeks.

Step five

Finish the look with some bright pink lipstick, then smudge at the edges to soften the look.

Now you have no excuse not to step into fall with a girly glow!
