It's official: Pippa Middleton is going to have her own not-quite-royal wedding soon! The Duchess of Cambridge's little sister is engaged to be married to hedge fund manager James Matthews. "They make a wonderful couple and we wish them every happiness together," Pippa's father, Michael Middleton, said in a statement.
Matthews reportedly popped the question on Sunday July 17th, while the two were in England's picturesque Lake District. Middleton raised some suspicions about her engagement when she posted for pictures at a charity event on Monday and kept hiding her left hand, but now, the news is out!
According to The Daily Mail, the two briefly dated in 2012, were apart for three years, and then reunited in September 2015. The couple plan to be married next year, and because she may know a thing or two about choosing the right decorations for the perfect party, we can't wait to see what she has in store for the special day!
But while we wait to see what her wedding will look like (especially her wedding dress), Get The Look is celebrating Pippa's engagement by looking back at some of her best fashion and beauty looks.
PIPPA MIDDLETON: HER BEST LOOKS
From being little sister to the stylish Kate Middleton, to collaborations with designers like Tabitha Webb, Pippa Middleton has proven to know a thing or two when it comes to fashion and beauty. And whether it's flared jeans, sequined gowns or turtlenecks, the 32-year-old can pull off just about any look and turn it into a timeless, and elegant statement piece.
For her most recent look, Pippa attended Wimbledon wearing a geometric printed blue and orange dress with a matching powder blue clutch for a statement look. The bride-to-be proved that she doesn't shy away from prints and bold colours on a number of occasions, like again, on Day 11 of the Wimbledon Tennis Championships, when she sported a purple and pink feminine floral dress.
Back in Septmeber 2015, Pippa attended the Boodles Boxing Ball at The Grosvenor House Hotel wearing a bold, royal blue gown with embellishments around the bust, proving that she's always been a style risk taker when it comes to colour and prints.
At the 2014 GQ Men of the Year awards, Pippa kept things on the subtle side, opting for a champagne coloured sequin dress with a high neckline and waist belt. Is there anything she can't wear?
Even when it comes to keeping warm in cold London temperatures, Pippa knows how it keep it cool (literally). Back in March 2013, the brunette beauty was spotted wearing a mustard yellow overcoat, brown knee-high boots, and a matching brown fur headband that kept her cozy and stylish for the Cheltenham Festival – who said style and comfort can't co-exist?
