Big, bold brows are in and we couldn't be happier! Of course, once we kissed our wax kit and brow technician goodbye, we had figure out how to tame our brows in a way that's bold without being unruly, defined but not overly perfect. After consulting the experts, we've put together our best tips for your best brows...
Find your shape
Everyone has their own unique brow shape and it's important to keep in mind that "brows are sisters, not twins." It's not unusual to find that one brow has a slight difference in arch or is a little fuller in one place. To find your shape, experts recommend using a white eyeliner pencil and drawing the natural shape of your brow, then using tweezers to remove any hair outside of that area.
Instead of wax and thread, which work to remove many hairs at once, consider tweezing. This is a lot more precise because you can only remove a single hair at a time, giving you plenty of opportunity to step back and consider your work! Also, while it's tempting to trim long hairs, you probably don't need to, so go ahead - put the scissors down.
Mix n' match products
One product wont meet your brows every need. Consider purchasing a brow kit that includes multiple products in one - the Brow Stylist Prep & Shape Kit has everything you need to groom your brows, then a tinted wax and powder to shape and fill them! Alternatively, consider using a tinted pencil like the Brow Stylist Definer to apply hair-like strokes through the brow, then use a tinted gel like the Brow Stylist Plumper to keep the hair in place all day long!
