On Wednesday, May 27, 2015, Rachel McAdams attended the premiere of her latest film, Aloha, in Los Angeles, California. In a teal mesh top and a structured dark blue pencil skirt, Rachel looked seriously sublime!
Directed by celebrated filmmaker Cameron Crowe (Almost Famous, Jerry Maguire), Aloha joins McAdams with Bradley Cooper, Emma Stone, John Krasinski, and Bill Murray- talk about a star-studded cast! The movie centers around a "military contractor [who] returns to the site of his greatest career triumph - the US Space program in Honolulu, Hawaii - and reconnects with a long-ago love while unexpectedly falling for the hard-charging Air Force watchdog assigned to him." Sounds romantic!
Rachel's red carpet look
While we loved Rachel's daring red carpet ensemble, the real star of the show was her on-trend wavy bob! Rachel loves to switch up her hair color and she's currently rocking an ash blonde shade with dark roots. Her chin-length bob was styled into soft waves that curled away from her face, with one side tucked behind her ear for an asymmetrical look. Want to recreate this style at home? It's easy!
Starting with damp hair, distribute styling mousse throughout, followed by a generous mist of heat protection spray.
Use your blowdryer, with the concentrator nozzle attached, and a small round brush to dry your hair. Use the brush to curl the sections closest to your face and straighten the sections at the back to keep the look soft and natural.
Create a side part and tuck one side behind your ear. All done!
