The 2016 Critics' Choice Awards took place on Sunday evening, January 17, to recognize the BFCA's favorite cinematic achievements of the year. Actress Rachel McAdams latest film, Spotlight, was a big winner on the night, taking home awards for Best Original Screenplay, Best Acting Ensemble, and Best Picture!
Of course, if it were up to us, McAdams would have taken home a Best Look award as well! The True Detective star absolutely dazzled in a glittering semi-sheer Marsala-hued dress by Elie Saab Couture, which she accessorized with a coordinated velvet belt and gold jewelry. The actress' bob was styled into casual tousled waves that perfectly framed her elegant beauty look: bronze-framed eyes and a berry lip ... what could be better for the winter season?!
Get the Look
Define your brows with a brow pencil, creating short, light strokes to mimic the natural appearance of hair.
Line your top lash lines with a black liquid liner, working from corner to corner, and keeping the lines thin from start to finish. Next, apply two coats of black mascara to give length to your lashes. Finally, line your bottom lash and waterlines with shimmery bronze eyeliner and then use a Q-tip to soften the color.
Finally, finish your look with a glossy berry lipstick or balm! Remember to blot and reapply to help it last longer!
